Halftone began in 2014 in the back of a Brooklyn print shop, and the press habits stayed: we sketch on paper, proof everything physically, and present three directions, never thirty.
Mara spent a decade at two of the big-name identity firms before opening the studio. The team is eleven people: designers, writers, and a production lead who has touched every material we have ever specified.
